Early Stage Confidence Index
The ESCI (Early Stage Confidence Index) focuses on two things:
1) How investors view present early-stage market conditions
2) How investors view the prospects for the early-stage market over the near term
Each quarter, responses are solicited from a select group of early stage investors - venture capitalists, angels and and accelerator directors - from around the world in order to form a representative sample of investor sentiment that is used by entrepreneurs and investors alike to make smarter decisions for their firms.
The level of investor confidence can be a leading indicator of many important trends that affect companies, co-investors and anyone actively involved in the early-stage market
Frustrated by the lack of sentiment and confidence indexes available for the early stage funding industry we decided to create our own.
Who is we? “We” is the team behind Visible.vc a portfolio monitoring and management tool for the early stage investing community.
That means this is one grand experiment. Please contact us if you have any suggestions, comments, or questions.
